Mission

Since 1956 we have had one simple mission: "To make our customer's happy. When you buy an RV from Stevens', we want you to have the time of your life and become our customer for the rest of your life."

Company History

Julian Ray Stevens Sr. started the business from scratch in 1956.

In 1976 his youngest son Milton Stevens took over and brought 10 years experience in the Manufactured Housing and RV manufacturing industry into his fathers' business.  The values and beliefs that were instilled in him by his father are very much still in place today.

Stevens is  locally owned family business. Wayne David joined the company as an owner in 1990 and served as vice president and general sales manager till his retirement in the Spring of 2008 . Don O'Day became President and part owner in 2003.

From the beginning, Stevens RV associated itself only with quality manufacturers. Today our manufacturers include Winnebago, Jayco, Thor, Forest River.  As listed, these are 4 of the strongest and most reputable manufacturers in the RV business.  They are the manufacturers that make the RV industry a proud group of dealers and product support companies.  They accomplish this by not short cutting the correct way to build and develop a recreational vehicle simply to make a sale. They put out products that will last right along side your desire to keep enjoying the camping experience!

Many of the brands they manufacture include the number 1 product in its class.

To better support our customers, we relocated to our new 12-acre facility on I-49 just north of I-10. Our commitment to customer service helped create the 16 Bay 13000 square foot service facility that is home to the finest technicians in this region.  Genuinely nice people who are exceptionally skilled in RV Repair.

We also care about our city. We support the Ragin Cajuns Athletic Network, The United Way, and local churches. We believe in giving back to the community that gave us so much. Our employees support many non-profit fundraiser thought-out the year.

Why Go RVing

The freedom to pursue your passions. The flexibility to pursue them when you want, where you want, how you want. The fun of a vacation experience unlike any other.

Freedom, flexibility and fun: That's the RV difference.

There's taking a trip from Point A to Point B. And then there's RVing. Recreation vehicles give you more control, convenience and comfort than other forms of travel. With an RV, you can hit the road more often, for longer periods, for less money.

The reasons you go RVing are the same reasons you take any vacation. To get a break from the daily routine. To be with family and friends. To rest. To relax. To see new places.

But the difference between RVing and other types of vacations is that RVing allows you to truly achieve all those goals--- and more.

Another difference? With RVing, there are no flights to catch. No security hassles. No long lines or lost luggage. No hauling heavy bags in and out of costly hotel rooms. No expensive unhealthy food.

RV owners surveyed by Harris Interactive cited escaping the routine of the everyday world, enjoying nature and resting, and relaxing and recharging their batteries as the main reasons for taking RV trips.

Are you asking yourself, Why Go RVing? If so, we've got the answers.
